Minor Projects
Pong
When I took beginners' programming in eleventh grade I was already very knowledgable about programming because of my experience with PHP. Within a few weeks of class I was making my own programs and doing far more additions to the programs than any in my class. So a few months before we started applets in Java, I started creating my own games, including Checkers and Chess without any artificial intelligence. Pong was the culmination of this initial programming. Play Pong
Orchestra Pirate Convos
After a extremely funny MSN Messenger conversation I had with my friends on Talk Like A Pirate Day I decided to make a webpage where more friends could participate in this funny conversation. And so The Orchestra Pirate Convos was born. I also made the above image for this site.
TIGCC Sprite Creator
When I got my TI-89 calculator for my 17th birthday, the first thing I did that night was attempt to program it. As I did research I found out about TIGCC, a program that converted normal C programming to the TI's assembly language. I played around with this and discovered you could make complex games using its built in sprites. However, the process to create these sprites was too complicated so I created a Javascript and PHP tool to help me create sprites for this program based on selecting how many pixels the sprite is to be and then choosing which pixels in that box would be on (1 and white). It then generates the binary and hexidecimal code to be imported to TIGCC.
